Lance “Delta-Kay” J., is a semi-young Certified 2D Animation Graduate that is into Animation, Artwork and Retro Video Games of the 1980s into the early 2000s. He is the creator of the Independent Graphic Novel series Neo-Fureza, Random Shizznit and the newly created Varieta Legend created in 2013, still in production.
Lance has dabbled with various other art and animation software like Flash, Flipnote Studio, Rough Animator and Flipaclip. He loves the Indie World and has been creating Indie Created Content since 2006 with his Comics and Art Books. He entered the Indie Game Dev world around Late2017, with the very first Demo Build of Bonded Lovers in Om3ga Visual Novel Engine (now defunct).
He’s been creating Original Artwork and Comics related to Neo-Fureza since 1989 and Animation in Traditional 2D style since 1998. His favorite beginning animation memories are of his Gameboy Camera, Mario Paint and very early Macromedia Flash days.
His favorite consoles and handhelds of all time are the SNES, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Wii, Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS and 3DS (with the Wii U joining the spot since 2020). Some of the favorites titles of his were Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Smash Bros. 64, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Shenmue, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 DS.
Some 2D Animated Cartoon Shows and Feature Films that has left a mark on him growing up were, We’re Back!: A Dinosaur Story, the Super Mario Bros. Cartoon series, the Saturday Morning Sonic the Hedgehog Cartoon, and Anime Series like Samurai Pizza Cats, Sailor Moon, the Various Anime shown on the Sci-Fi Back in the 1990s, and of course, Dragon Ball Z on Toonami and Fist of the North Star on Showtime Beyond.
Lance has a certification in Media Arts and 2D Animation and is skilled in Traditional Paper Animation and Flash Animation and he also creates Visual Novel JRPG Hybrid Gamed in RPG Maker XP/MV. He has officially begun attempting to learn 3D Animation using Anim8or 1.0 (for Modeling), UV Mapper Classic (for UV Mapping Models), PhoXo (for Texturing) and Blender 2.8 (for Animation).
